Raphael Grosz-Harvey

Davie Vega

Raphaël Grosz-Harvey is a Canadian actor, born in St-Sauveur, a small town just outside of Montreal. Having artists as parents (his father is a theater technician, his mother was a musician), ensured he was always surrounded by an eclectic and diverse group of artists. From music venues and recording studios, to rehearsal halls and theaters, these were the many playgrounds of Raphaël’s childhood. He often attributes his love for acting and fascination with the human condition to the many artistic experiences he had growing up.

Raphaël attended a fine arts highschool, where acting found him by accident. Although Drama was a big part of the curriculum, Raphaël, much like his father, explored set and lighting design, preferring to be behind the scenes over being in the spotlight. During his last highschool production, however, an actor fell ill three weeks before opening night, and Raphaël was begrudgingly forced to step in. Like love at first sight, those first few rehearsals would change the course of his life as he became enamored by the world of acting. Before pursuing acting training, Raphaël took some time off to serve in the military, an experience that informs his discipline when approaching his acting work.

After graduating from Dawson College’s Professional Theatre Program, Raphaël transitioned to film and television work, as well as breaking out in the video game world. His selected video game credits include motion-capture and voice work in games such as Assasin’s Creed, Batman Asylum,FarCry, and Tomb Raider. His film and television credits include a leading role in the indie film Ariel, Death Of A Ladies Man, The Art of More, X-Men: Dark Phoenix, My Salinger Year, and more.

Raphael Grosz-Harvey is known for Target Number One (2020), The Moodys (2019) and Death of a Ladies' Man (2020).
